Delightful coffee, delightful service, delightful cafe! Mainly, the coffee, was complex and had a beautiful flavour, a house blend that was brewed to perfection, seemingly exactly for my little taste buds. The milk (flat white) was silky and smooth, and the ratios were spot on. Great cup all round and regardless of anything else, the coffee wins. The service and vibes to the place are equally as immaculate though. Shared seating creates a real community buzz and nice atmosphere, with staff, both knowledgeable and friendly, going above and beyond to create a great experience. The cafe is one of the best in Brighton, and that’s before the cakes and bakes! I obviously couldn’t try the whole lot, but going of the quality of the pastel de nata that I had, ooooweeee I’m excited to go back!

Superlative coffee and food served in a fantastic friendly cafe with a lovely atmosphere. The cafe is quite small with some seating but not much. Great for smaller groups. The coffee is just outstanding. Really fantastic brew. As is the food, really delicious full of flavour. Perfect compliment to the drinks. Service is fast, friendly and personable. Possibly the perfect cafe! A must go.

I’m not coffee expert, but the filter coffee at 33 has completely redefined what coffee can be for me. Their unique roasting process brings out the true essence of each bean, capturing flavors that are rich, smooth, and unbelievably aromatic. This isn’t just a coffee shop. It's like a little haven in the heart of Brighton where coffee transforms from a drink into an experience. Absolute must-visit for anyone passing through Brighton!

Coffee At 33 – Small shop, big heart (and seriously good coffee!) The owner is incredibly sweet and friendly — you feel welcome the second you walk in. . I ordered an espresso, a cortado, and a hand drip, and every single cup was perfect. Balanced, smooth, and full of flavor — no bitterness at all, just pure coffee joy. Their pastries and baked goods look so tempting too... I wanted to try them all! If you’re in Brighton, you’ve got to check this place out. Just a heads up: it can be a little slow because they’ve got so many loyal regulars — but trust me, it’s 100% worth the wait.

Fantastic coffee at reasonable prices for the area. This shop clearly know their coffee, including weighing out the beans. We didn’t have any of the cheesecakes but they had the slightly underbaked middle that is the signature of the basque region and they looked delicious

A fantastic specialty coffee spot very close to the station. I went with friends and the barista was happy to make us four different coffees as hand brew pourovers for us to share and compare. They were all tasty and brought out the distinct notes in each coffee! Certainly worth a visit if you're ever nearby.
